{"id":352,"date":"2023-08-23T20:24:37","date_gmt":"2023-08-23T20:24:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/laurelway-playgroup.com\/?page_id=352"},"modified":"2023-08-28T13:56:20","modified_gmt":"2023-08-28T13:56:20","slug":"enrolment-policies","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/laurelway-playgroup.com\/enrolment-policies\/","title":{"rendered":"Enrolment Policies"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2>\n\t\tEnrolment Policies\n\t<\/h2>\n\t<p><b>Statement of Intent<\/b><\/p>\n<p>It is our intention to make our Nursery accessible to children and families from\u00a0 all sections of the local community.<\/p>\n<p><b>Aim<\/b><\/p>\n<p>We aim to ensure that all sections of our community have access to the Nursery through open, fair and clearly communicated policies.<\/p>\n<p><b>Methods<\/b><\/p>\n<p>In order to achieve this aim, we operate the following admissions policy:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We ensure that information about our nursery is accessible &#8211; in written and spoken form<\/li>\n<li>We arrange our waiting list in birth order<\/li>\n<li>We monitor the gender and ethnic background of children joining the group to ensure that no accidental discrimination is taking place<\/li>\n<li>We make our equal opportunities policy widely known<\/li>\n<li>Children can attend morning session, afternoon session, full day or extended morning session.\u00a0 Full &amp; part time schedules are fixed at the beginning of each term.<\/li>\n<li>An enrolment form is given to prospective parents for completion<\/li>\n<li>An enrolment fee of \u00a330 <b>which is non refundable <\/b>must be paid when submitting the enrollment form which can be paid by BAC<\/li>\n<li>This form must be signed, dated, completed and returned<\/li>\n<li>In the term prior to entrance, a Registration Form is given\/sent<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0A deposit of 1 month&#8217;s fees based on the number of sessions you choose will be given\/sent.
